cube to sphere not working

having issues with cube to sphere. we are able to drop a shereical pano onto sphere to cube and it gets chopped into the 6 cube faces, however when we go to take them 6 cube faces and turn them back into a spherical nothing happens at all. If we drop 1,2,3 or 4 imagers at at time the window opens and then disappears. if i try to drop 5 or 6 i het nothing at all.

all 6 cube faces are the same size in photoshop. we use 8 bit tif images and use the sphere to cube for tifs to chop.

any ideas?

Hi,

are you maybe using Windows Vista?

unfortunately Vista has a "nice" new security feature:
when many files are passed to a application via "drag and drop" and the filesnames/filepaths are "longer" then an internal limit (no idea what exactly) it just ignores the call

try renaming the files to "shorter" names and put the files in a "shorter" path (e.g. just "c:\pano\"),
if it works then it was this vista problem

yes that is the case then. i use vista ultimate 64 bit. thank you for that info.
