transparent map

hello,
I'm struggling through the documentation again.
How can I make a map transparent ?
.jpegs and .tifs with alpha channel don't seem to load.

Just save it as png-24 with transparency.

I think in CS2 there should be the menu item "Save for Web & Devices" in the "File" menu (like in CS3 and CS4)... not? This command should start "Imageready".

The more flexible way:

Set your map as plugin with the parameter "alpha" somewhere between 0 and 1. -> documentation

example:

Source code

1
2
3
4
5
<plugin name="map"
url="map.png"
...
alpha="0.5"
/>
