Dolphin Browser BETA not work with Krpano 1.16.2 on HTML5

Hello, since the last version of Kr pano 1.16.2, the browser dolphin browser android beta I had full support HTML5, it works.

It is this

On my website, if effort to be displayed in HTML 5 (but loads the Flash) with this URL

Loads hotspot, but not out of the cube image panning, background stays black.

Even thought it might be a mistake, and I happened to show errors and shows no errors:

A that may be? Because it's a shame that we can not use the Android browser that does support HTML5

With the previous version of Krpano if it worked.

Hi,

it seems that the WebView browser is getting memory problems on your page and therefore is no longer able to render pano images...

You can try this setting in the xml to get the Android HTML5 display of the previous version back:

You can try using smaller images via:

or try first viewing the pano without your surrounding page... maybe something in the page design causes the problem there...

Hi,

what Android device do you have?

Is your device maybe reporting to support WebGL but doesn't in real...?

What happens when trying to view this link: (prefer CSS3D)

Hi, I have a Galaxy Note
The Android version is 4.0.3

That link if it works "half", does strange things when uploading pictures, but after about 5 or 10 seconds is displayed well.

With the old version if it worked in html5 krpano.

okay, then please try this link on your device - with it you should get the 1.0.8.15 rendering back:

But note - this doesn't mean the other Android devices will work the same like yours!

Hi,

the last link is also 1.16.2, but there CSS3D is preferred over WebGL and the html5rendermode is set to 2.
This kind of rendering was used in 1.0.8.15.

To get it for you own examples add '+css3d' to the html5 embedding setting in the html file - e.g.
embedpano({..., html5:"auto+css3d", .. });

and add this line in the xml:
<display html5rendermode="2" devices="androidstock" />

But please note - this doesn't necessarily mean that other Android devices will act the same like yours!
In my own tests the current default Android settings are the better ones (more stable, less resource hungry and faster), especially with newer Android versions.

These Android device problems will be probably not solved until Chrome will be the default browser and also the WebView engine on all Android devices. Regarding to Google they are already working on this.
