Video not loading with global krpano.swf

Trying to use single krpano.swf (and krpano.js) files for all my panos/tours (outside the pano/tour folders) for convenient updating.
My plugins are also located in a single folder for the same purpose.

When the krpano.swf is inside the tour folder, the videoplayer loads the video inside the pano just fine.

Example: http://www.virtualvisitbali.com/developm…waowintonl.html

However when I load the krpano.swf from outside the tour folder, the pano opens fine but the video doesn't load!?

Example: http://www.virtualvisitbali.com/developm…waowextonl.html

The xml file of the pano is at http://www.virtualvisitbali.com/developmentvr/waow/waow0.xml

Hopefully somebody can take a moment to have a look what I am doing wrong here.

Hi,

this is a Flashplayer limitation - the url of the video needs to be relative to the main swf file...

See the note here:

using placeholders in xml is usually a good idea when working with global swf + js files, also with CMS like wordpress etc, helps keep files from being called from virtual url paths which do not actually exist as real directories

try something like this

Source code

1
2
3
url="%SWFPATH%/my-path/videoplayer.swf"
videourl="%SWFPATH%/my-path/my-video.flv"
etc

see this discussion for more info

Placeholders (%HTMLPATH%, %SWFPATH%, etc..), why to use them??
