Hi Klaus,
We have a question from a client as to whether our mobile 360 player can be made rotate and tilt based on the physical movements of the device.
As you know, all mobile devices can detect their orientation and most can detect motion, which compass direction they are facing, etc. So imagine someone standing up, holding their mobile device, and looking at a 360. If the person were to turn his body 360 degrees (for example first facing north, then east, then south, then west, then back to north) could the 360 player be made to follow their rotation and show the various parts of the 360 as though they were standing looking around in the room?
Ideally this would need to be a feature built into KRPano… is this something they have or are considering? If not, would there be another way to do it by creating a widget that would translate the rotational motion of the device into corresponding swipes of a finger on the screen?
