desktop images on ipad

Hi,

i love this piece of code, it works very nice

Source code

1
<display usedesktopimages="true" hardwarelimit="1800" devices="iPad+Retina+iOS6" />

when i want this feature, but i don't need an desktop version of the tour, how can i just get the right level that is used by iPad?
So, which level the ipad is using and can i only use that level?

Hi,

when using multiresolution images and usedesktopimages=true, then the html5 viewer currently searches for the biggest level that is smaller than '
hardwarelimit+256'.

That means in your case the biggest level that is smaller than 2056 (=1800+256).
But the resulting image itself will be downscaled to 1800 to keep within the hardwarelimit setting.

But note - this behavior might change in future versions.

Best regards,
Klaus
