Not working on iPad: switch(hotspot.visible)

I want to turn a bunch of hotpsots (that are only used as textinfos) on and off.
I thought this was quite simple, but I'm close to crying because it won't work on the iPad :-(
(Even in Safari with Useragent iPad it works).

Any suggestions?

Herr Schrader,

I'll make you happy with this link ...
To explain short.. Give the hotspots a tag... Like Jurgen="alteman" *g*
And then use the code.. In short.. It loops all hotspots and the ones with the tag you can controle.
So it is possible to make endless groups of plugins and hotspots behaviour..
Use it all the time.

Just yesterday I was banging my head against the wall trying to make hotspots hide in html5 and got no clue why they won't disappear.
