Prepare multires HTML5 for streaming

    Question for practical use:

    When distribuing a large multires with an iPad magazine on some occasions it is not advised/possible to download the image data with the magazine.
    Is there an elegant (= simple) way to show a normal lowres version and make the hires available by request if connected to wifi?

    I have detached this post from the news thread to this separate thread because this topic not directly related to the multi-resolution viewer or to krpano.

    In HTML5/Javascript itself there is no reliable and portable way to detect if the device has an internet connection. Therefore when developing an App this detection should be done by the App itself and then the state passed in any way to the html page.

    In the html page itself, then a different xml could be loaded or the state also passed the krpano viewer via parameter where then too, depending on the state different xmls or difference scenes can be loaded.
