jpeg tiles encryption possible in the future?

theoretically it should be possible, but the affords should be not worth it...

It might require loading the image two times - first normally to see if the browser can use it, then if not, loading it a second time by the xmlhttprequest interface, then decoding and decrypting it, then converting the result to base64 and passing it as image to the browser.

That means would accept MUCH slower loading, much more memory-need and therefore eventually easier crashing/blocking mobile devices and incompatibilities/problems with older browsers/devices for it?

I will experiment with it of course (and tell more detailed about it), but due the expected results the priority for this is very low at the moment.
