link tours

Hello.

Is it possible to link tours, i.e. you have one tour with many scenes in one xml doc and you want a hotspot that links it to another tour with many scenes in another xml doc?

I imagine the simple way to do it would be to link to a new html doc but is there a better way then that?

Cheers.

There is a easy way : have a look at the loadxml function
VideoStitch, a video stitching engine / blog sur les visites virtuelles ( french ).

Hi,

loadxml() will load the xml as "string",
loadpano(xmlpath); will be the right function

best regards,
Klaus

When I load new scenes I get a nice blend between the scenes.

When I load a new pano then new scene I get a nasty gap.

How can I loadpano then load a scene with a nice seamless blend?

loadpano(1.xml,null,MERGE,BLEND(2));

is smooth for me no glitches.

Hi, that would work if I was loading just another pano directly but I'm not, I'm trying to load a scene from a new XML file if you get what I mean.

To load that scene I first have to load the file and then load the scene, which is probably why there is a gap.

Hi,

Zitat

To load that scene I first have to load the file and then load the scene, which is probably why there is a gap.
yes, this will be the reason,
first it loads and blends to the new xml (also without pano),
and then to the scene there...

loading scenes from other xml files was just not intended...
the main idea behind scenes was to keep everything in one xml file...

Klaus

viewinz i see this post is old but i had run into the same issue linking scenes in a tour to an external xml used for a separate scene. this works well without a gap in between loading. the xml this code is on is its own xml for this 360 only it is not scene based. but can link back into a scene based tour.

onclick="loadpano(tour.xml,null,MERGE); loadscene(scene_Womens Lockerroom);"
