iOS devices - can i separate the pinch zoom functions from the gyro

Hi there.

just finished my first ipad/iphone playable vtour. all gyro and touch operated. But...

Can i turn off the pinch/zoom/touch facilities completely, but leave on the gyro facility? i'd like my clients to be able to gyro around the tour, but not give them the option to touch zoom in and out - i'd like to set the field of view as a constant.

or, to put it another way, can i leave the touch facilities switched on (i might want to add hotspots and all that later on) but just turn off the zooming facility?

is this possible? and how?
