Hi,
People that already bought the Moving Hotspots in the past should have received an email.
It seems some email address don't exist anymore.
Please check your spam bins.
If you did not receive the email about V2, please send an email to virtualtuur@gmail.com with:
- your name
- your email address
- your share-it ref order id
- your exact krpano license name (check double)
- your exact krpano license email (check double)
Keep in mind: to be able to use this update you need Adobe AfterEffects!!

Hi all,
finally, it took a while but, i can present you the Moving Hotspots V2 for 360˚ video and photo.
For people that bought it in the past this version is for free. (see previous post)
Put your hotspots on moving items in 360 video or let things fly around a pre-defined path in 360 photos.
Label your products in 360 video, make things clickable for info.. etc etc
Trigger any action you like.
You need Adobe After Effects as an editor. A dedicated script is included.

Hello,
Great news, thank you Tuur.
Which version of AE is needed ? Does it work on the CS5.5 version ? Not sure CS5.5 can deal with equirectangular but that would be cool, because I'll never go on CC version with annual fees :/ It would of be nice to be able to deal with moving hotspots in krpano without having to pay a huge amount to adobe for years only to be able to work on videos in krpano...
Anyway thank you for your work !
Have a nice day :)
Hi,
It uses the 'environment' plugin/fx.
In my case it is called : CC environment.
I can not guarantee and i don't know if it works with those older versions.
To be on the save side, i would at least use a version where all this 'SkyBox' stuff was implemented in AE itself.
(just a few months after me buying it .. bummer.. haha)
CC works great, and always up to date.
I feel like more then worth the money to use all Adobe stuff.
And i use quite some of them, almost on a daily base. (photoshop, AE, Premiere, lightroom, Illustrator, dreamweaver etc...)
And when you make money with software, better buy a license.
Tuur
Hi,
I understand, but I payed for CS5.5 years ago and that was quite expensive, I don't need any update for photoshop and the only thing concerning AE would be the 360 support, that to say I don't like paying every year if I don't need an updated version.
I was pleased to pay for krpano licence and if one day I use it for professionnal purpose I'll buy the branding free licence, I would also be pleased to buy the moving hotspots plugin as I think it can be very usefull but I think adobe policy of asking you to pay every year without letting the choice to buy a version without update is not correct. I'm probably too "old school"...
I'm gonna look for CC prices because I would really like to use your plugin, before I will look if CS5.5 can manage skybox, thank you for the advises.
Have a nice week-end and thanks again for your plugin :)
Hi gnOoOb,
you could send me an email, so we can discuss to try if it could work with your version.
It uses the 'environment' plugin/effect/fx
Maybe you can have a look if it is in your effects bin.
If yes, then there might be some hope.
Tuur
Great, thanks a lot for that proposition, I'll look that very quick and will tell you :)
Hi again, sorry for the double post. Seems that environment in AE is only available since 2012 with CS6 version :( Anyway thank you very much for your proposition Tuur that was very kind.
Tell me please, how it works? Why you didn't one write any documentation?
Hi,
well, it works great
Did you have a look here?

Watch the video's.

Hi,
i made a quick example video about following the moving hotspots with the 'cam'.

I love it

...
sorry, i was not prepared for this amount of 'lack of interest'..
..and it works so beautifully..
Very de-motivating, and also makes me doubt if i should go on with my other, some even more exotic, 'plugins', to bring to the market.
I think nobody does 360 video for paid projects with krpano anymore.
Such a pity.
I have the impression the whole 360 business is one big 'Mac Donalds' scene at the moment.
Cheap, more of the same and mostly/often crap or at least not original.
I'm afraid this whole market of doing something more then just pull some buttons on PTP (which is dead), will collapse.

Hello Tuur,
We all know how forums work, it's not because it seem to have a lack of interest that your plugin isn't interesting, I'm sure it can interest lot of people.
Adding hotspots in 360 video is a "must have" for me, I see so much possibilities, so PLEASE, keep your great work going. Perhaps the need to have AEcc versions is stopping few of us, but be sure that if one day I have to use hotspots in video I'll buy AE for one year to be able to purchase your plugin.
Same as you, I don't understand what 360 is going to be in the future and I'm surprised to see so less things regarding to the huge possibilities. Gopro killed Kolor which doesn't help in my point of view. panophoto.org, the french forum for panoramic is down since a long time now and that's very depressing for me as we could have very nice discussions there... and I don't know where to look now if I wan't to ask questions in french :/
Anyway, I still think great things could be done with videos and krpano, but it seem not to be really ready yet, that's why I can't wait before Klaus releases the next version and I hope there will be nice new features.
I have no idea how we could deal a video hotspot editor for krpano but that would be really great and I assume much more people would buy the plugin. But I also understand the difficulty of dealing such a thing and managing to do it in AE is already a great work. All that said, be sure that few of us (if it isn't lot of us) are really happy with the work you did :)
Hi,
Here the answer on a question in the old thread.
Quotethis method is good, supporting AE operation is a bit cumbersome, but overall it has been thought that this method is still very powerful, can I buy the first version now, because I am not too skilled in AE.
I don't sell the first version. The editor is flash based, and less efficient to use.
AE has this all already nice organised and i think to make it with krpano is almost impossible at the moment.
In my opinion the AE script/procedure is quite straight forward and simple, even i can do it. I also have not too much experience with AE. AE is used as editor and the output is krpano compatible.
Tuur
Great work !
Hello, I cant find where the actions " SKript" is called in any of the example files. Is this built in to the encrypted files?
