I have krpano version 1.0.8 beta 9 DEV (build 2009-12-09) and editor.swf plugin 1.0.8 beta 9 DEV (build 2009-10-29) and shows me a "wrong krpano version " .

I do not know what's going on.

Hi,

to avoid version conflicts between the editor plugin and the krpano.swf,
the editor plugin checks its version against the krpano version,

that means for working both files must be from the same version,

krpano version 1.0.8 beta 9 DEV (build 2009-12-09) comes inside the krpano Tools 1.0.8 beta 9 but there is no new plugins version inside.

Anyway, perhaps it is not really needed for now ...

but they the plugins are not finished and available yet,
they will come with the viewer release (hopefully soon...)

Quicky question re: krprotect gui tool. The possibility to save as an exe file has disappeared. Will it be re-introduced with the final version?

I am using KRpano 1.0.8 beta 9. I use the multires droplet and outputed an image (pano) with mark "Demo Version". How can this be removed, I have the unlimited version.

In APT, using the pano processed by KRPano, there is no demo mark. I register there, the KRpano and KRpanotools.

How can I register in KRPano site.

Hi Klaus and others!

I wonder what is wrong with my settings with the new krpano tools / viewer when I use "MAKE PANO (SINGLE-SWF-MULTIRES) droplet.app".

The html file doesn't load the SWF-file if it is located on a different server. See below:

They both have the same code:

With js-file before it worked like a charm but not anymore with embedded js-files.

additionally to the tools license, the viewer license must be also in the folder of the tools,

right, I see the problem,

it's the call to the flashplayer that should disable/hide the menubar,
that's normally working only locally on 'trusted environments' and will
be ignored in any other case,

internally the flashplayer does that via the "fscommand", but this interface
is disabled for flash files on external domains, and the call fails the all
following command were stopped by the flashplayer,

I have fixed that problem now for the next release!

a quick fix to get it working, would be to set the Flash "allowScriptAccess" parameter to "always",
e.g. add:

swf.addParam("allowScriptAccess","always");

Thanks again Klaus! You're a life saver! I assume that swf's generated with the tools (until next release) doesn't work on Facebook because FB site states the following:

"Facebook prevents direct script access from Flash with allowScriptAccess=none. To link or call JavaScript from your Flash object, you can use Flash localconnection and the fb:fbjs-bridge tag. "

you could also...

... when making the swf with the kprotect:
uncheck the [ ] Hide Menubar option (you need to select a Standalone Output Format first)

... when making the swf with the "SINGLESWF" Droplet:
open the right .config file (e.g. templates/singleswf.config)
and remove the "-nomb" from the "kprotectclparameters"

then the swf should also work without allowScriptAccess=always,

- experimental PSB reading support

kmakepreview:
- support for grayscale preview images
- command line parameter "-g" or "-gray"

kmakemultires - new settings for the .config files:
- graypreview=false ... generate grayscale preview
- xmlimageparameters=# ... add parameters to the xml <image> node

kmakemultires droplet templates
- updated html/js templates (added allowScriptAccess parameter)

kprotect:
- improved automatic embedded file sorting
- updated/bugfixed krpano viewer
