I am desperate after I found that there seems be no new HTML editor as replacement for the Flash version.
I search Forums and the latest downloads for Vtour editor but can not find anything.

No, I mean the Tour Editor which worked in flash, with which you can ad and move hotspots, change startview, and ad hotspots to change panorama.
II have to use your Toolbox now, even if it is great it is very slow to use. It will take me 5 times longer just to set hotspots in place using copy paste .

Tuur
Not sure what he means with it.
Is the editor included in the Make V tour tool.?
How can I use that for old tours.
I have to edit my prefs first to have a look,
Its a non trusted tool now on Mac. Do not understand why. Never had to change those setttings for the old tool.
That tour editor is in the new make vtour droplet!

Finally found it.
Could really been told a little better. It does not say anywhere in the release notes that it is hiddden in The Krpanotools app.

No it is in the KrPanoTools App.
Unfortunatelly it does not work.
I can not move hotspots. And when I click on a hotspot I get an error that it can not find the images it should open.
Do I need to update to tha latest Krpano?
This is what it says when I click my hotspot.
And you can not drag it even if it says so.
The images loads perfect in browser.
If I click the Add hotspot it ads the one I use to link next pano and I can move it.
This editor works only with default vtourskin, you can't use your own hotspot styles

It is actually Krpanos own code using the HTML popups code,
Vrtour skins do not have any hotspots besides the next pano link.
I simply do not understand that this has not been taken care of several years ago.
But I also hate Adobe for jut blocking the use of any Flash based tool.
They should not do that. It your own decission if you want to use it for offline work.
And they never sent any warning that they would do it this way.
the default vtourskin hotspot style is skin_hotspotstyle and this is the one loaded by the hml5 editor.
html popup code is not included in vtourskin

If you can not edit all hotspots the editor has no function at all.
Klaus has to understand that using hotspots and placing them is one of the most important functions that has to be included
if we should continue working with Krpano.
And edit individual nodes of polyline hotspot is very important too...

The HTML5 version works exactly the same than the previous flash version and even has more features ;)
I understand your need of having a GUI but then I would recommend using Panotour or CMS4VR.

I have been doing KrPano tours since 2010.
Manually coded. I do not need aneditor for that, But If you have 1200 popup hotpots you need a tool that can easy drag them in place and just save it to the xml.
Pano tour is NOT Krpano regarding popup hotspots etc
It s a completelly different software which just use the basics of the viewer.
As far as I can see the Editor now inplemented in the KrpanoToolsapp is based on Tuurs Toolbox codes.
But you just can not drag the hotspots in place and save it to xml.
But Tuurs Toolbox works fine for dragging any hotspots. Also the ones made back in 2012 in my tours.
It is just very slow as you can not save directly to your tour.xml.
Hi,

Be assured that I know that and that I'm working on it!
The current 'hotspot editor' in the vtour editor inside the krpano tools app is a very simple one and only intended as quick helper tool for adding hotspots in tours that are based on the vtourskin.xml.
Best regards,
Klaus
