Pano dragging jumps when hovering iframe hotspot

I have a distorted hotspot (type iframe) with a Vimeo video as the iframeurl attribute (the same problem exists with YouTube iframeurl)

This is the code of the hotspot (i am using krpano ver. 1.21.2):

When dragging the mouse to look around in the panorama it happens that the cursor goes over the hotspot, at this point the dragging of panorama stops (this is ok because the iframe take control of the mouse position) but when moving again cursor out of the hotspot the panorama position jumps back toward the position where the mouse entered hotspot (this is evident if you exit the panorama on opposite side of the entering side).

Any suggestion how to solve this annoying problem?

Can you show a link where this happens?
Perhapa make a seperate and simple bare bone example to tackle the issue.

The virtual tour has been generated with krpano MAKE VTOUR 1.21.2 adding the Vimeo iframe hotspot.

When you open the link you will see just in front of you a Vimeo video that is the hotspot.

Try this:

put the mouse on a side of the iframe hotspot
drag the cursor to move the panorama so that the cursor enters the iframe hotspot
at this point the movement stops
now move the cursor on the other side of iframe hotspot
panorama position jump back close to entering position

Hi,

I have recently noticed that too.

That's seems to be some Chrome privacy protection feature - it artificially avoids/blocks the mouse tracking over an cross-origin iframes.

And the 'mouse jumping' occurs due the values that the browser is reporting in this case.

The best 'solution/hack' I found so far is adding a 'hidden overlay' over the iframe when the mouse enters the iframe with a mouse-button pressed. Then this overlay would block the iframe interactions and so avoid the wrong mouse positions.

Here some experimenting code - first add this anywhere in the xml:

This doesn't work 100% in all situations, but it should be an improvement...

Later krpano versions might have such fix automatically and internally applied...

ah!

i also see when you do right mouse button, or perhaps even better press cntrl and click when the issue happens, ánd are not over the video, the issue is gone..
..eh sometimes-ish... perhaps do it a few times. (not an option of course)..

I was wondering if adding capture="false" to the hotspot makes sense/a difference.(?)
