Hi all,
A sad message from the son of Hans Nyberg.
""
It is with sorrow that I must announce the sudden passing of my father, Hans Nyberg, during the night of Thursday, March 14th. Although his health had deteriorated over the past few months, his death still came as a surprise to me and my family.
My father was always deeply involved in his passions. Throughout most of his life, photography was his main focus, initially as a commercial photographer and later as a panoramic photographer. This brought him into an international community of photographers, led him on many journeys, and provided opportunities to take photographs for the Danish royal family.
At the same time, he was very involved in supporting my sister Lene until her passing.
In recent years, he was particularly engaged in topics and debates here on Facebook, and I know that many primarily knew him online.
As he wished, my father will be laid to rest without a memorial service, and his urn will be placed alongside my sister at her grave in the cemetery at Marie Magdalene Church, Ryomgård.
Instead of flowers, if you wish to honor my father's memory, donations can be made to the victims of the war in Gaza, where my father was stationed from 1962-65 as part of the Swedish UN battalion.
