krpano Tools.exe not launching but listed in windows processes

Hi,

I’ve managed to destroy the folder on my pc that contains all things Krpano so I need to download and set up again.

I’ve just got krpano 1.21.2 (build 2023-12-11), unzipped and can’t seem to open krpano Tools.exe even though nwjs is listed under Windows processes.

• Using Windows 10 Pro 22H2
• I’ve tried re-downloading the zip
• Run as Administrator
• Tried drinking 4 shots of gin but no change
• I’m using Bitdefender but have tried krpano Tools.exe when it’s both on and off
• I seem to remember the same issue a while ago but the solution was to download the 32bit version . I can’t see that one on the downloads page but would really like to use 64bit anyway.

MAKE VTOUR Droplet.exe doesn’t work when dragging and dropping my image into it. Again, MAKE VTOUR Droplet.exe (32 bit) is listed under Windows processes. Had another shot of gin and now just feel tired

I have the RTX 2060 with driver version 536.23, so downloaded the latest which is GeForce RTX 2060 | Windows 10 64-bit > NVIDIA Studio Driver – V 560.81

After the update, krpano Tools.exe was a no show but like before nwjs listed in the task manager. I don’t know anything about nwjs so looked it up. In the task manager, the properties of nwjs shows

File version 0.50.00
Product version - 0.50.0-Beta1

On their website, the latest version is nwjs-v0.91.0-win-x64 so seems quite a leap.

I saw this on the KRPano forum dated February 9, 2023,

"For anyone having the Windows issue - there is a new release (build 2023-02-09) available that should fix it."

I then noticed that Suso Barral got it up and running after downloading the update. Is that fixed version available as the link now goes only to krpano 1.21.2

I'd have to go back to using krpano-1.20.11-win32 as that's the only version that works for me

It doesn't matter, I've got it working on the laptop so all good as can transfer all compiled files to the PC
