it seems a bit difficult to add another three js 'add-on' to the plugin to me, but maybe i'm just 'stupid' or make a mistake or oversee something..
Staring too long, too many different focus subjects to dig in..
As it is quite a basic feature, Klaus, can you add OrbitControls.js to the opensource/three_154 directory?
Or perhaps show us a, maybe step by step, way how we should do such?
I'm quite confused.

Hi,
the controls (mouse, touch, keyboard) and the view (camera) are always controlled by krpano itself.
That means threejs scripts like OrbitControls.js, that take the control and want to modify the camera, don't make sense here and are not possible.
Btw - you can have orbit-like controls in krpano by setting view.oz to a some larger value (e.g. 1000) and optionally inverting the control direction (control.invert).
This is also done in several examples when using the 'Dollhouse view', e.g. here:

Ah, that makes sense, i 'understand' my struggle now.
I thought it would be nice to have also that from the three.js
For me it was mostly about the gesture control. (2 fingers dragging, and use optional 3 fingers for what ever..)
This seems to work quite nice in three.js. I'll have a go on the 'krpano way' then.
