That's not new and I'm not sure if it can also decrypted the latest files. There were already several changes and updates related to encryption.

I will not test it! If you do, make sure to use a safe and isolated environment, there is a risk of infecting your system with remote control or spy software.
Beside that - a 100% secure encryption is not possible in a static client-side encryption/decryption case. And especially with Javascript and the browser tools it's easily possible to inspect and modify things, but if that will be usable is another question...
I clicked on the download on my computer, which I didn't care if it was broken.
Windows ESET has marked this file as dangerous.

Guess if it does what it says then krpano encryption is not safe now.
Of course, it is not safe because it needs to be decrypted in memory.
So - don't store any secrets in XML.
