Dynamically change hotspot's edge

According to the document, it's only for layer in "XML Reference", but for both of layer and hotspot in "krpano Actions / Scripting Reference".

I tried to change the edge in action for hotspots dynamically, it's like just flickering but not changing its edge on the right way.

I'd like to know how to change hotspots' edge dynamically.

using set action for changing edge is not working.

using changealign is not working.

Is the only way to change the edge of hotspots by removing and adding a new hotspot?

Hi,

the edge setting can be changed at anytime and changing it is working.

When you got flickering that probably because the edge change caused a position change and so trigger out/over events that, which are then changing the edge setting again.

If you want to change the edge, but don't change the current position, then the changealign() function would need to be used. But note, in this case the x and y settings will get modified to keep the element at the same position.
