Hide Navigation untill password for Plugin "pin.xml" has been entered

Hello

After 10 Years, I thought it would be a nice thing doing some panoramas again. I am a beginner with coding and hope somebody can help me.

I'm having problems hiding the Navigation at startup of my virtual Tour. I plan to buy and use the PIN Plugin from https://novosibpano.ru/Plugins/Pin_en.html and would like to hide the Navigation until the Password has been entered.Somehow, I cannot manage to find a solution.

I would be happy, if somebody could point me in any kind of direction. Thanks in advance

Hi,

first add this anywhere to hide the skin on start:

<action autorun="onstart">
    skin_hideskin(instant);
</action>

then according to the pin plugin documentation the second parameter of the 'enter_pin' action is called if the password is entered correctly:

Code

enter_pin(password, action, close button, bg click - close);

so to show the skin, call skin_showskin() there:

Code

enter_pin(... , skin_showskin() , ....);

Hello Klaus

Thank you very much; Hiding the Navigation functions almost as desired. I think I have to buy ther Password Plugin, being able to change the needed Code th get the Navigation visible again after entering the correct Password. The File needed to get this done seems to be encrypted in the Demo Plugin.

Sorry, I didn't specify my goals as good as needed: do you a way, not being able to Navigate untill the correct Password has been entered? Kind of Freeze the Tour untill the correct Password has been entered?

This seems to kind of freeze the Navigation in the Panorama itselve, aldo it still is possible to klick in the Navigation and the klicked Panorama gets visible. That's what I want to prevent.

search the documentation about layer

and create a 100% width/height layer w background that captures clicks

in your enter_pin action hide the layer or remove the .. set(layer[overlay].visible, false);
