krpano Maps: OpenStreetMap tiles not loading properly

Hi Klaus,

please see this test case:

What I see, when I open this link:

There are several blurred areas on the OSM map that are not loaded properly. The missing tiles are loaded when I zoom the map.

The test case is based on your krpano Maps Plugin example. You can download the altered example code here:

Can you please check, if this can be fixed for the next release?

Hi,

Thanks for noticing and reporting this!

That error was a actually bit hard to spot

The issue was a numerical one - in a formula where the theoretical upper limit of the result is 1.0, floating-point inaccuracy caused values like 1.0000000000000002, which then led to NaN (Not-a-Number) errors and so prevented those tiles from loading.

The problem will be fixed in the next release.
