• Hey,

I just tried to download the latest version of kr pano and it says installing but doesnt actually appear in my applications. I dont know what is going on.

Then I just noticed that the mac version of kr pano is just for intel macs. Apple is taking away rosetta stone with the next release of mac osx. So does that mean that kr pano wont work on the next release of mac osx? Will there be a new release of kr pano for apple silicon?

  • Hey itsrichphoto!

It sounds like you're having some trouble running the Krpano tools on MacOS. I found this installation guide, have you followed all of the steps here?
    krpano.com - Mac OSX Installation

It looks like after the disk image installation there is an additional step where a "FIX_INSTALL_MACOS" command needs to be run, and permission needs to be granted in the Privacy and Security settings menu.

Please give this a try if you haven't yet, hopefully it can help get everything working for you.

For the Apple Silicon question, I found this comment in a thread where Klaus mentioned that native Apple Silicon support is planned someday. I am not aware of any more recent comments where this may have changed.

  • Thanks for the info. The problem is it looks like the files are not generated to run the installer software

  • When you say the files do not appear to be generated, do you mean that you do not see the FIX INSTALL OSX.command file after you double click the .dmg file and drag out the folder?

Or do you mean some files that are generated by some other step?
