Gaussian Splat Studio for Panotour

In the last months i have been developing a GUI Gaussian Splat Editor Plugin for Panotour based in KRpano 1.24 User´s based in krpano 1.24. Settings are saved in panotour plugin and can be allways edit in the editor. So for now im around what i would like to see as a virtual tour developer and hard to influence , and i want to know now what you would you like to see 🙂 . I will launch a beta version in the krpano forum to test before the final version. Things are working well but i want to know your needs. New era for Panotour.

Hello Here’s a quick preview of the First-Person Collision Builder of Gaussian Splat Studio for Panotour. You can either upload a proxy mesh or easily build your own collision geometry directly in Gaussian Splat Studio. I’ve been developing a Gaussian Splat Studio with full Panotour integration, using the latest krpano 1.24. This GUI will help copy paste settings to panotour and is allways saved in the GUI when you open the project again.

It includes a wide range of actions, animations, sequences, effects, 3D hotspots, annotations with navigation arrows, tooltips, and much more, evetryhing can be customized with your design. I’ll be sharing introductory videos in this post, followed soon by a version you can test. A lot of things need to be done yet, burocracy, before the launch. Nest video i will post annotations feature with navigation arrows.

Hello Klaus, thanks for your comment, after this mission, i will try to make a standalone version, many ideias now ;) Im a panotour user and lately i have been "upgrading" some of their deprecated files, so i started to make some experiences in gs plugin development for my workflow and in house plugin, i was not happy with the solutions i see in the market, and things turned a little crazy this last months building it. Currently im in hardtests and doing video tutorials step by step, website etc, but the most important , the plugin is near a public release, and i will introduce here some of the features. So i hope with this , for who bought and is familiar with panotour a oportunity to go side by side with the latest krpano developments :) .

i have been diving into this but not compatible yet. Will add this feature when available. The ideal workflow would be for krpano to support Streamed SOG with spatial LOD loading and the generated collision data directly. The Collision Builder would then remain useful only for corrections or simplified custom navigation. A low poly automatic Generated Collision Mesh would be good :)

Two Splat Scenes, Tooltips and background sounds . Fully compatible with multiple gs scenes.
