Pano stretches at edges

Hello,

I am displaying two types of
panos in krpano, one taken with 17mm lens and other with wider lens of
36 mm. In this pano taken by 17 mm lens stretches more at edges. How can
it be resolved... ?? Is there any parameter which i have to set...???

Hi,

the lens which was used to shoot the pano is complety independent to the viewing or displaying of the pano!

But maybe your 17mm image is so small (in pixel dimensions) that the maxpixelzoom setting is already limiting the zooming...?
e.g. try removing the maxpixelzoom setting in the xml and compare again.

We havent used maxpixelzoom now even though image is stretching. You may look at these example tour,

First pano is taken by 17mm lens while second is taken by 36mm lens. You can toggle pano by clicking next button. Do check at edges in 17mm pano it stretches lot.

Hi,

the reason are simply different field of views (fov).
The second example is only a partial pano and therefore the fov will be automatically limited/set to a lower value than in the first example.
