Thanks Pete, it must be a local issue with my machine's codecs or something. Strange.

I am using videoplayer for 360 video and am having issues with Internet explorer showing a black screen.
Any ideas why this might be? The link is http://www.hongkongunrest.com
Kind regards

Wooo! Go Klaus!

Thanks for the reply Klaus
I've tried your method using the onready callback and it seems to work sporadically which is strange (I'm using the testing server to view the html file).
Is there any way to ensure that the krpano viewer is loaded before the page is shown? Can I load the krpano viewer in the html header?
Kind regards and Merry Christmas!

Hi all
I'm trying to make a video play on button click but am having problems calling plugin actions via external javascript with the following code. Any ideas why this isn't working?
Code<li class="mainbutton"><a href="#" onclick="playvideo();">WATCH VIDEO</a></li> <script> embedpano({swf:"krpano.swf", xml:"video.xml", target:"pano", id:"krpanoSWFObject", html5:(document.domain ? "prefer" : "auto"), passQueryParameters:true}); var krpano = document.getElementById("krpanoSWFObject"); function playvideo() { krpano.call("plugin[videointerface].togglepause();"); } </script> -
Has anybody had any success trying to build a VR viewer for 360 video with the latest developments for HTML5 video in krpano 1.18?
I didn't know whether Klaus' 'workaround' for iphone meant that it will be impossible to create a second viewer for viewing 360 video with Cardboard/Oculus Rift/Dive etc.

Thanks for sharing your solution Andrey, this thread has been really useful.
I'm trying to assign mouse position (x or y axis) to a particular viewpoint to create a 'Lytro' like image, where you can click points of the images cause them to come into focus. This would require having the entire set of images to be mapped out from dragging the left side of the window to the right side of the window.
I'm assuming I would need to use the "get(mouse.x)" function as a percent in the "domouserotate" action and copying the result onto the frame shown. Could anybody help point me in the right direction of how to implement this?

I've just seen Klaus' post here about triggering events onviewchange.
"
e.g. here a a one-time check if hlookat is greater then 90:Code<events name="viewtest" onviewchange="if(view.hlookat GT 90, events.removearrayitem(viewtest); trace(...do your stuff here...); );" />
"I'm only concerned about onenter but don't want to remove the arrayitem. Can somebody help me figure out how to trigger the event when entering a polygonal hotspot already defined in the tour?

Hi,
I understand that over/hover/out events aren't possible in HTML5. Instead, I was wondering - Is it possible to listen out for the position of the viewer and cause an action to take place if that viewer enters a polygonal hotspot for example?
e.g. if the centre point of the viewer enters a polygonal hotspot, do an action.
I am trying to get this to work independent of viewer control i.e. it should work with both touch, gyro and keyboard controls.
Many thanks!

Hi there
I'm trying to use SWFaddress on a panotour generated virtual tour with hotspots.
When I load the panorama using the SWFaddress URL, the hotspots show but are not clickable (They are functional if you select the panorama using the thumbstack). Any help would be really appreciated! I've attached main xml and a single sample scene xml file.
Thanks!
Edward
p.s. forgot to add a link to the existing tour - http://edwardrichardmiller.s3.amazonaws.com/clients/2013/b…ur.html#/pano1/
