Maybe a completely different approach would be needed here that doesn't use hotspots.

I think multi-resolution panoramas will become more and more important. On the one hand, we have increasing camera resolutions and, a more recent trend, high pixel densities for desktop monitors (retina displays). On the other hand, we have mobile devices with small screens and limited bandwidths. Multi-resolution panoramas are what's needed to bridge that gap, so it would be great if they offered the same features as single resolution panoramas.

Also I am wondering why the version number has up to three levels. What kind of change would be needed for a shift of the first digit (krpano 2)?

The example http://www.krpano.com/examples/116/e…bes/slider.html demonstrates how to blend two panoramas. However, the approach used there only works for single resolution panoramas. Is there a way to blend multi resolution panoramas?

danke für die Antwort. Für mein Panorama kann ich damit leben. Allerdings wird ja krpano auch damit beworben, dass es Tera- oder sogar Petapixel-Panoramas handhaben kann, und spätestens dann wäre es doch sehr empfehlenswert, wenn auch die Hotspot-Bilder in verschiedenen Größen vorliegen würden. Vielleicht ist das was für eine zukünftige Version von krpano.

Hi,

In my panoramas, I am using an arrow cursor (arrow-cursors.png). When hovering over a hotspot, the cursor changes to a hand cursor, which I don't want. I can set handcursor="false", but then the cursor still changes (to the standard Windows mouse cursor). What I want is to keep my arrow cursor also for hotspots. How can I do that?

ich verwende einen Hotspot mit Bild, das bei Mouseover erscheint. Da es sich um ein Gigapixel-Panorama handelt, ist der Hotspot recht groß (ca. 2500 x 2000 Pixel). Das entsprechende Hotspot-Bild hat 2,2 MB. Aus Performance-Sicht ist das natürlich nicht so ideal. Gibt es dafür eine Lösung, vielleicht analog zum Prinzip der Multires-Panoramen, wo die Kacheln in verschiedenen Größen vorliegen?

Das "Convert SPHERE to CUBE" Droplet ist ja essentiell, wenn man den Nadir retuschieren möchte. Bei einem Gigapixel-Panorama kann es auch eine ganze Weile dauern, bis alle Würfelseiten berechnet wurden. Daher wäre es sehr praktisch, wenn zuerst das Bodenbild ausgegeben würde. Dann könnte man schon mal mit dem Bearbeiten anfangen, während der Rest noch berechnet wird. Dummerweise ist aber ausgerechnet das Bodenbild das letzte, das ausgegeben wird. Könnte man die Reihenfolge nicht umstellen?

Die Bilddatei für die Standardbuttons enthält Buttons, die bei den Tourskin-Buttons fehlen und umgekehrt. Kombinieren ist nicht so ohne weiteres möglich, da die Buttons unterschiedliche Größen und Stile haben. Zudem gibt es in keinem der beiden Sets Buttons für Funktionen wie Home, Hilfe und Autorotate an/aus. Ich würde mir daher wünschen, dass krpano mehrere unterschiedlich designte Button-Sets mitbringt, die jeweils auch komplett sind, d.h. alle Standardfunktionen abdecken.
