I have seen some old posts on this subject, but my requirement is slightly different. I am looking at a measuring tape for checking the dimensions of the interiors of a flat in Pano. I was wondering if anyone has attempted this earlier. My works are all in 3D and not real time photography and I work for property developers.

When it comes to 3D renders, customers are always skeptical if the dimensions of the room (for ex) are exact or not. To be more transparent, my customers wish that we provide a measuring tape inside krpano so that the customer can check the room sizes.

Anything in this direction?

I am not sure if this is a new issue but off-late, I notice that the update tool does not recognize many files. For ex: When I drop textfield.swf file for updation, it says
"Error: Not a krpano swf file"

Similarly, when I drop BingMaps.js, it says Unknown file.

However, the tour works fine!!!

Does anyone else encountered this ?

I have been able to create the animation as per the above link successfully. Thanks for the same. Just needed to know as to how I can arrive at the ath and atv values as below:

I currently use KRPano extensively in the 3D Architectural Visualization and am quite happy with the same. We are now getting requests from our customers if it is possible to incorporate animation into the scene .. say on Mouse Click/Touch.

The request is to show collapsible furniture of the interiors in the Pano. Say on touch, the Sofa in the Living room converts to a Bed with the animation of the same. We currently use two separate renders like before and after - of the Sofa converted to Bed. But this lacks the WOW factor in it. Just wondering if using three.js, this could be made possible.

Any inputs/feedback is welcome.

Was wondering if there is a comprehensive tutorial explaining all the plugin-ins, features and the code for customized build of krpano. While there is a documentation for each of the elements and the plugins, there is no tutorial as such which will start from a Beginners level and end at an Advanced programming level.

Would love to know if anyone has developed this so far.

I am planning to develop a small game within the VR created by KRPANO. This is just to create an interest for viewers to explore and experience a property :

Game process is simple:

1. A few objects are included as hotspots in the scene with Alpha 0
2. The viewer is given some clues to locate these items within the scene
3. As the viewer focuses (the crosshair) on the object - a few things can happen
a. The object alpha to change from 0 to 1
b. A GIF file is activated - say an explosion
c. The object alpha changes back to 0 and is disabled
d. An Audio file is also activated to provide the sound for explosion
4. A small Time counter and a Score counter is provided in the bottom
a. The time counter tracks the time taken to track the object in the scene and
b. The Score counter is incremented once the object is tracked
5. At the end, the viewer is given a ranking in relation to the time taken.

Looking for some help with regard to this - how to go about it or some related code for the same.

not sure if this was answered earlier. Was wondering if there is any way we can hook up a pc directly to the smartphone on the headst to see what a viewer is seeing on the headset. Idea is to track what the viewer is viewing on the headset so that a commentary can be given to him or he can be instructed on other scenes etc

the plugin works perfectly fine on the desktop and with the sound files provided in your assets folder. However, when I use sound files from my library the sound is echoing/choppy. Following are the details of my setup

Samsung S6 Edge
Android ver: 6.0.1
Krpano - ver: 1.19 p3
mp3 to ogg conversion - Adobe Audition (xiph OGG container)
Firefox ver 46.0.1

I have enclosed both the formats of the water sound used by me.
