Yep! just had the same problem, I've deleted everything and will start again, I think it may be caused by doing lots of edits and changes and flipping between the pano's and 3D views

I have the same problem
-
Perhaps thanks to this? I haven't tested.
Hi Piotr
Thanks for your help, I changed 'bgcolour' in index.html as follows:
<script>
embedpano({
xml: "main.xml",
target: "pano",
bgcolor: "#ffffff",
html5: "webgl+only",
mobilescale: 1.0,
consolelog: true,
passQueryParameters: true,
onready: function(jsapi) {
window.krpano = jsapi.get("global");
}
});
</script>And the background changed to white on the 'dolls house'.
As they say... if all else fails read the manual!!
Thanks

Is it possible to change the background colour of the 3D model?
Looked through project3d.xml and main.xml and can't see how to change it
-
Fixed it, 'onclick' action needs to be as follows:
onclick="set(linkedscene,scene_pano4_sphere);flytopano();"
where linkedscene is the name of the scene you want to load!
Once thing to note is that unlike evertags, this icon will only appear in the specific view you put it in, but does give more flexibility to customise
-
Yep! I like this idea, especially as you can manipulate the model with one hand.
Cool 3D model too

Just bought the licenced version of everpano and have a question.
Here is my first '3d' pano - [size=10]https://www.trekwireless.co.uk/ascension/3d[/size]
I would like to use my own png's instead of 'evertags', here is my code:
<hotspot name="arrow-270"
url="../hotspots/arrow-blue.png"
alpha="0.8"
ath="271"
atv="4"
zoom="false"
scale="1.2"
onclick="loadscene(scene_pano4_sphere)"
/>Arrow appears in the correct place, but when 'clicked on' the pano does not load correctly and appears distorted.
If I use an evertag the transition works correctly.
So my question is...
What is the correct 'onclick action to load the pano correctly or how can I change the evertag code to use my own png?
thanks in advance and great piece of software

Spent some more time using everpano and reading the documentation.
Getting 'good' 3D models definitely requires practice, I spent some more time today and much happier with the result:
https://www.trekwireless.co.uk/ascension/3d
I'd like to offer my clients a matterport style dolls house and everpano does a pretty good job.
I'm very impressed with the measurement tool too

Considering the price of everpano, its a pretty amazing product, well done!

Fixed with latest everpano download

I have done a test today, in my local community hall.
The pano's are each created from 7 x 15mm full frame fisheye images (6 @ horizontal 60 degree's plus a zenith image) all stitched with ptgui, with ptgui reporting 'very good' when optimised, I've also checked nodal point and it is correct.
My question is that when I add 3d geometry, for example lining up a cube to the four corners of the room, the corner points 'move' when a new pano is loaded. Is this due to geometry errors with the pano's?
Also I seem unable to get geometry to overlap, see image-1 below, where there is a 'gap' between the two sides of the interior, how do I get rid of this?
If I just use a simple cube, then its not noticeable (but image-2 and image-3 show how the corner of the cube is different) but I want to model fairly complex internal spaces.

When I load the rendered pano, the following message appears:
Looks like a typo maybe it should be texture.png?
ERROR: loading of './assets/model3d/texturepng' failed! [2x]
Looks like a typo maybe it should be texture.png?

Solved it!...
declare variables...
for example:
<data name="flat32-fd-name">Flat 31</data>
<data name="flat32-fd-floor">Floor 3</data>
<data name="flat32-fd-date"> 15/8/22</data>
<data name="flat32-fd-status"> passed</data>create the hotspot:
<hotspot name="fire-door-f32-f3"
type="text"
style="fire-door-style"
ath="182.5" atv="5"
html=""
/>Then 'overwrite' the html string...
txtadd(hotspot[fire-door-f32-f3].html,'',get(data[flat32-fd-name].content),[br],get(data[flat32-fd-floor].content),[br],get(data[flat32-fd-status].content),[br],get(data[flat32-fd-date].content));
Hope this is useful

Hi Klaus
Many thanks for your help, will investigate further. Being able to create hotspots without needing a png is such a great feature and has saved me so much time on this project.
At the moment the description text for the hotspot is 'static' but for my project I will need to update it from time to time, for example when a new inspection is done.
For example:
html="Fire Door F32-F3[br]Inspected[br]8/9/22"
The 'inspected' and '8/9/22' strings could need to be changed to 'failed', '7/12/22'
I could create a separate xml file and then include it, something like....
set(f31-date,8/9/22));
set(f31-check,pass));What is the best way to then overwrite the html string for the hotspot?
I did try - Set (hotspot[flat-32].html,get(propdesc));
where propdesc was already defined, which worked fine, but I need to overwrite multiple variables in the html string.
Thanks in advance for your help.
cheers

I've created a text hotspot as follows:
<hotspot name="store-room"
type="text"
ath="270" atv="-15" edge="center"
distorted="false"
renderer="css3d"
html="Store Room[br] [br]Code C1234X"
css="font-family:Tahoma; font-size:17px; color:#0000ff;"
vcenter="false"
padding="2"
wordwrap="true"
selectable="false"
bg="true"
bgcolor="0xFFFFFF"
bgalpha="1.0"
bgborder="0"
bgroundedge="0"
bgshadow=""
txtshadow=""
mergedalpha="true"
oversampling="2.0"
mipmapping="false"
onautosized=""
onclick="loadscene(pano9,null,merge);set(view.hlookat,0)"
/>It displays fine on PC/laptop with chrome, edge and firefox, but on ipad/iphone the text formatting is lost. I don't want to create png/jpg's for the hotspots as I need to transfer text to/from a database to update the displayed text. I have attached two screen shots showing the problem.
I tried changing the rendering from webgl to css3d but it makes no difference.
Help and advice most appreciated, also is there a way to change the properties of the 'box' for example curved corners?
cheers Tim

Hi All
What is the easiest way to automatically pan around the 360 pano as it first loads, for example start at 180 degrees and pan around to 0 degrees as the pano first loads, or look straight up at the zenith (+90 degrees) and then pan down to straight ahead (0 degrees) or a combination of movements. The idea being to give the viewer a better idea of what is 'in' the pano ready for them to explore.
Thanks in advance for ideas!

A new Microsoft store has opened in London's Oxford Street, I visited it today and tried out some of my virtual tours on a big Microsoft Surface PC.
They look fantastic and worked well, so as always well done Klaus for giving us such an excellent toolset to showcase our images.
Only feature that did not work was the pinch/zoom gesture, the standard +/- function (i.e. set(fov_moveforce,-1 or +1)) at bottom of screen worked fine.
krpano version is... krpano 1.19 pr-16 (also tried pr-8 with same result)
Tried viewing google 360's via google maps and pinch/zoom worked fine.
Is this a bug?
-
Hi Alexey
Thanks for that
It was driving me mad,
I will pad out the rest of the pano with white (to keep the file size small) and try again
Just reprocessed as a full 360x180 and worked fine.
FYI ptgui has a limit of 30,000 pix max width or height.
cheers
Tim -
I normally create full 360x180 panos, did a shoot last week where I've shot a panoramic view across London from the roof of a hotel.
The output partial pano (processed using ptgui) is 172x32 degrees) file size is 14mb.
I used MAKE PANO (MULTIRES) droplet (krpano 1.19-pr8) to create the pano, but I cannot view it, I get a message saying FLASH required. Edited the html file to say html5:"prefer" and just get a black screen.
Only tried locally using krpano testing server.
Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

I’ve just changed from canon 5d mk2 to canon 6d as canon no longer carries parts for 5d.
Image quality is comparable between the two cameras, I’ve tested side by side.
6d lets you bracket 7 shots at a time, compared to 5d’s 3 shot limit.
Nice having Wi-Fi connection to show clients images too.

Re Canon 5d Mk2 - I was told by canon that they are no longer supplying spare parts for this model.
I have two 5d mk2 bodies, once one breaks then I will upgrade, will probably go to the 6D.
For 360 stills main advantage would be having a greater bracketing range, as 5D mk 2 only does 3 at a time and I think 6D can be configured up to 7.
