Hi,
I just tried the VR mode of the examples in a Quest 3.
The way "house" opens make me think this is still under progress (as I can not move and it seems like the viewpoint is inside the house). Bicycles and others are not playing well in vr mode.... Is it because more ressource then the Quest 3 will be required for VR Headset ?
In the mean time I will soon try to do my first few splats.... Interesting new tech.
Looking at KR's evolution is so cool. Thanks for the amazing work.

Hi everyone !
We did a project for a small museum and we are now using GearVR + S8 phones + KSWeb server so our KR Project is loaded locally. All of this is perfect !
However, the occulus browser quit the tour very often the the headset is not used.... then we have to make sure the browser is pointing at the local address and then click the "Enter VR" button again. It gets disturning to do that all day long....
Does anyone knows any ways to prevent many exit from the tour to reduce the number of time we would have to launch it again ?Thanks,
Martin

Thanks for the reply Scott.
You have a good point for the joystick, using the center cursor will be easier to manage

As for the headset, The Gear VR requiers a Samsung cell phone, right ? So I just need to open a browser there ? I am not sure to understand your reference to the occuluis environnement.
As you said, a Kiosk mode will make it easier so we would not need to provide support to the user in the museum.
About the headphones, you connect them with a wire (instead of Bluetooth and avoid battery problems) ?

Hi there !
I will be involved in a museum project where a 360 pano with distorted video will be presented. I plan on using our beloved KR to do so like I did many times with embeded videos.
However, 2 questions are important to me:
- Does any of you used an handheld device in order to interact with hotspot ? I mean like an arrow we can move on the screen using some kind of joystick ?
- What hardware do you guys use in such situation for the headset in order to display a KR Experience ?
Best regards

As Benji33 said, it only overide the MinFOV... anyway, for some reason using a lower value then 140 gave me better results (but the 140 really look like 180º which is the default value....weird).
For the togle information/introduction image, anyone has example (codes required and layout of mouse + touchscreen instructions) ? There is no standard on that I guess ?
Thanks,

Hi,
I am about to publish my first few 360 using KR !
Two things do not work as expected so far.I am not able to limit the maxfov. I have the following line but still, the user can zoom out to 179º:
<view hlookat="260" vlookat="30" fov="60" fovmin="20" fovmax="140" maxpixelzoom="1.0"/>Also, I am thinking of a instruction images that can be toggle on/off with an instruction button. Did anyone have a nice and shareable exemple of that ?
Thanks

Hi,
I am quite new to KR and still getting started, I am now setting my default skin and I realized that icon large enough for people on large monitor (1600-2500 columns) would be too large for smaller monitor (1024-1280 columns).... is there any way to have some king of responsiveness or scalability other then the mobile detection that allow different layout on mobile ?
Thanks,
