Hi. Rather than start another thread, I too am keen to know how to change the hotspot icon from the default arrow to something like an animated circle like the original poster asked. I have tried looking at the code in the response, but it isnb't clear to me what I need to change (I am no coder).

Could you give some step by step instructions on exactly what to do to change the look of the hotspotrs on a panoramic tour please?

I created a tour (multires) using the droplet a while ago with a series of 2x1 panoramic images. It worked well using the default skin that had the little 'gyro' button to activate the gyroscope controls on suitable devices.

We have just created a single multires panorama using the default droplet and the default skin. Sadly, there doesn't seem to be a gyro button there by default.

Could anybody explain (or point me in the right direction) how to add the button and the control. I am a novice with respect to coding so I am hopeful I can copy and paste code from elsewhere.

    Cheers.

I am finding the same thing. Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I am trying to get a good experience with stereo panoramas on the GearVR. It's just very laggy. I am using an S6 with krpano 1.19-pr8

I am experimenting with krpano to create stereo panoramic tours for use on PCs, smart phones, Google Cardboard devices and GearVR. It is very early days in my testing so far.

I have created a rendered stereo panorama that you can look at here:-
    http://www.blinkimage.tech/pano/kr/tour.html

In principal, it works fine on computers and smartphones and is even ok on a Google Cardboard device.

On the Gear VR using Samsung Internet, however, the experience is not as good as I had hoped. It generally feels a bit laggy and will likely induce sickness with users very quickly. When I plug a panorama straight into Oculus 360 Photos, or even use Orbx, the experience is much much smoother. Are any of you able to check and see what you think?

What sort of steps should I be looking into to improve on this?

Is Samsung Internet actually using the GearVR's inbuilt gyro, or is it using just the phone alone (an S6 in this case)?

I haven't changed anything in the krpano tour xml files at all - just the minor adjustments necessary to get stereo to work (as laid out in the step-by-step guide on this forum)

I have just created my first stereo panorama using krpano. It seems to work fine, and on my Samsung s6 it plays fullscreen when you click on the Google Cardboard icon - brilliant.

However, on an iPhone 7 plus (not tried other iPhones), we still see the address bar along the top. I have done several searches on this and found several references to it, but haven't found a categorical instruction on how to solve it, assuming there is a way to solve it.

For a non-coder like me, can anyone give me guidance on this?
