Making Radar touch controls work with gyro2 plugin

Has anyone had any luck getting the radar touch controls to work with the gyro2 plugin? I'm referring to the way you can drag the radar cone to change the pano orientation. It seems like this functionality is disabled when the gyro is enabled. Since we have access to the radar source code, I've got some ideas about how to fix it but I was curious if I was just missing something obvious about making these plugins play better together.

I solved this by disabling the gyro plugin on a ondown.touch event added to the radar layer and then re-enabling the gyro plugin on a onup.touch event.
