It appears that the April 24, 2019 update to Chrome on Android 9.x disables both the Gyro and WebVR plug-ins. iOS devices seems to be fine, and desktops with the emulation are fine. I'm not sure what changed, but was hoping that someone with more knowledge of which web technilogies are used by these plug-ins could look into it. It appears that these still work on older version of Andriod, I was able to find a phone on Android 8 (Chrome 73.0.3683.90) and both plugins are still working there.

Hi,
that here might be the reason (a quote from the Chrome 74 Release Notes):
https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+…955f2a0450a85f4That means the gyroscope-support was limited to 'secure' HTTPS sites.
Here an additional link:
https://www.chromestatus.com/feature/5688035094036480And the log from Chromes console:
Quote[Deprecation] The `devicemotion` event is deprecated on insecure origins and will be removed in M76, around July 2019. Event handlers can still be registered but are no longer invoked since M74, around April 2019. See https://www.chromestatus.com/feature/5688035094036480 for more details.
Best regards,

klaus,
Thanks. That seems to be the fix. Accesing our site in HTTPS does restore the Gyro2 and WebVR to working order.

Thanks for pointing this out. I had the same problem trying to troubleshoot a local installation for a few hours.
It would be great if krpano would log some message to the console (even though its chrome's mess).

Any idea about wht´s happening? Thanks, I hope you´d have more information or a workaround about this.
