Load tiles from makepano into krpano Tools

Hi there,

complete noob of krpano here.

I have been playing around with the krpano Tools app, (v. 1.21.1).

I noticed that I can make vtour (starting from a spherical image) from the tool gui (it creates a vtour folder with a very specific structure, xml file, tiles in sub-sub folders etc), and I can load different vtours into the gui very easily.

However, if I tile the spherical image using the command krpanotools makepano -config=krpano-config.txt -panotype=sphere input.jpg output, the output folder has a different structure (it's called "tiles" and it doesn't have nested folders structure, all tiles are in the same folder).

I was wondering if there is a way to load this output from the makepano command into the gui to visualise the 360 image.

Hi,

the 'structure' of the tiles depends on the settings in the .config files:

And the 'command' there to create 'scenes' is the 'makescenes':

About the editor - that's only a simple helper tool and works only when tour includes a vtourskin.xml.

To build such tour from command line, e.g. use the 'vtour-multires.config' config file (is also the default).
