Hi Benjamin,
Try changing the value of the range="" parameter into your hotspot[video] with a bigger number than the default one (90)..
Quoterange
- range of the directional sound
- 1 - 360, default="90"
Hope this can help.
Salut.
Thanks but it wont do what i need !
I've set an range of 90. So sound volume is at max in this area.
If i get out theses 90°, sound = 0 :(
Wish i could set it to 0.1 for example .
Clear ?
thanks
Hi Benjamin,
range="90" is the default value... this is why the sound volume is to 0 when video is on your back.
Try a greater value... 150 or 200 for example.
Salut.
hum i may not be that clear ;)
sounds should never be lower than 0.1 or 0.2.
What ever the angle you set.
Hi Benjamin,
I think I am not clear on my answer...
Try to put a value of 360 to the range parameter
... and listen what happens.... the sound have the same level every where you look to !!!
Try now a smaller value like 180... You can then listen the sound level going down until the back view where there is no sound at all !!!
I think a value of 200 may be good for your needs..
Hope I am understood...
Salut.
Hi Benjamin,
. You can then listen the sound level going down until the back view where there is no sound at all !!!
as you just said : until the back view where there is no sound at all
I want at least 0.1 !
here is a bad looking shema !
in front of the video it should be the max sound level
going up to the defined range angle, it should lower progressively to another level like (lowvolume).
out of the range the volume shouldn't be lower than the set llowvolume.
better ?
Hi Benjamin,
Look at the videoplayer plugin (beta) documentation.... what you are looking for , a parameter named (lowvolume) does not exist... So it seems that this is not possible by now...
A very similar parameter that does something like what you expect is the range parameter !!!
Please, try to set it to 200... I think it must be OK... TRY IT
Salut

Hi,
great graphic!
I haven't thought about such, but adding that would be a work of minutes
what would be a good a self-explaining name for this parameter?
I think "lowvolume" is not the best, what do you think about "outofrangevolume" or so?
just let me know and I will upload a version with that parameter
best regards,
Klaus
I have done it now
I have added two new parameters to the videoplayer plugin:
download it here:
krpano-videoplayer-plugin-2009-06-24.zip
(it will be also included in the next release)
best regards,
Klaus
you are my lord ;)
Lord of the VR :)
just implemented it on my tour :)
so cool !
can't show it now but it uses a lot of beta features and it is really cool to have them :)
