Play WITH ME - Drums in 360˚ - V2

Hi,

In 2010 i made a 360 drumset that was playable.
Now since krpano 1.20 the reaction time of the soundinterface is back as it was in flash.
So i made version 2 to investigate a bit on the new soundinterface.

The behaviour depends on the power and speed of your computer.
You might experience clicks when using the loops. That means your system has not quick enough access to the sounds.
For me on my macbook pro 2015 it seems to work quite good, sometime i hear some clicks though.
Also the reaction time on your keystrokes is important. When possible, set it as quick as possible.

Well, i'm able to play nasty grooves with it and i love it.

Yes a recording.. i’ll have a try.
Was fun making this little tech study.
I think i will add html5 audio plugin from our friends for panning.

I never tried to convert it into an html5 version, so i didn't know it was problematic because of reaction time

Yes i remember that.
Was nice!
We did sort of the same thing seperate from each other.
You need also to make a new one.
I will ooptimize mine a bit more, i code and loading time/order.

Unfortunately, i didn't play drums anymore (so i sold my drums few years ago) ... i just have a small bamboo xylophone to use if i would try it again

Maybe i should not share this kind of stuff... (unsure)
Hardly worth the effort.
For myself i like it though.
Makes me aware of all the tools we could use to communicate, audio reaction time in this case.
And keep it just by bare bone tech examples when i find problems.

I go focus on something else.
