Equipment question

Hi,

I dont know if this is the proper forum to post this but I couldnt find any other part of the forums to post this.

I 'm new in the panoramic business and I 'm doing a research for equipment and software.

I see that the quality of the panoramas on the site are very good. https://krpano.com/examples/normal/

I was wondering what kind of equipment was used to make those shots? I have a Canon 450D and a good tripod. I ' m thinking to buy something like pano-pro - http://www.pano-pro.com

The problem with this type of equipment is that it looks like the whole panaroma looks distorted on the sides. Should I buy something like gigapan epic pro? http://www.gigapansystems.com/

I need something like the quality on this site.

do not use a 360 lens if image quality means anything to you.

i would get a nodal ninja 3 or 5 for a pano head. of course i choose krpano for presenting the final product. and check you the new Samyand 8mm lens if you do not already have a wide angle they are nice and cheap 250-300 US.
