Hi,
I can change scenes by passing their name as parameter.
But when I want to visit a scene that has already been loaded, it doesn't work.
For example: http://www.website.com/pano#p=scene1
Then : http://www.website.com/pano#p=scene2
So far, it's ok.
But when I do: http://www.website.com/pano#p=scene1
The scene1 isn't loaded. Nothing happens, no js errors.
My xml file structure has all the scenes contained in an external file. I just include the scenes.xml file at the beginning of my main.xml file.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
Hi Nidrig,
Just saw your private message. Glad you managed to find what the problem was.
For future reference, the problem was that the name of krpano ("krpanoSWFObject") is hardcoded in the plugin, so it will not work if a different name is used.

Hi,
Most of my customers prefer the drag2d over moveto mouse control. I have the control set at startup to drag2d. So when the tour is loaded by going to the main URL everything works fine. You can even navigate the whole tour and nothing changes. But if you go directly to one of the scenes by typing in the specific address the mouse control switches to moveto type. I can't figure out what is happening and why it's changing. Please check out the URLs below and let me know if anyone can figure out what I'm doing wrong.
If you load the tour with this URL the controls don't change: http://tours.etours360.com/jaddress-test/
If you load a specific scene the mouse control changes to moveto type: http://tours.etours360.com/jaddress-test/#p=scene_2
Please help.
Thank you.
Hi
I'm trying to use jaddress easily by amending the code created by VTOUR which actually creates tour.js and tour.swf instead of swkkrpano.js and krpano.swf.
I wondered whether those swf file and .js file compilations and renames are the reason I cannot get jaddress to work??
Steve
This shouldn't cause any problems. Do you have a link to an example?
Hi
Is it possible to dynamically change the URL based on view.hlookat, view.vlookat and view.fov?
This shouldn't cause any problems. Do you have a link to an example?
Hi Manuel
Sorry your plugin works fine. It just wouldn't work locally but when I uploaded it works fine.
Tell me if possible. I use the autorotate with a wait time on all my VT's with an autorotate off button. It would be really helpful when using your plugin with the addition e.g. &ath=100&atv=20&fov=135, for the autorotate to start when the pano is fully loaded rather some arbitrary wait time which I use at the moment.
I like the autorotate enabled initially a VT is then differentiated from a still flat image.
Many thanks Steve
Hi there,
There's a new version of jAddress! https://krpano.com/plugins/userplugins/jaddress/#top
If you have purchased the plugin and are not able to download the new version, please send me an email to m.cabral@digisfera.pt and I will get it to you.
NIce to have new updates on this plugin, I use it many times.
2 questions :
1.- What are the main changes ? the ability of loading xml instead of scenes ?
2.- How can I download the new version ? I can't see any button apart from the one that take me to share-it...
Thanks
Hi Jordi,
Yes, that is the main change. Also, it allows defining the transition when switching panoramas, a few small bugs were fixed and it's easier to setup the plugin (no need to include an XML file anymore).
Share-it doesn't seem to provide a way to download the update, so I have emailed it to you. Let me know if you find out any problems with it.
All the best,
Manuel
Hello Manuel,
I hope you can help me.
I purchased jaddress a couple of day ago, and so for I'm very pleased with it.
But then I realised that my virtual tour hotspots didn't show.
The hotspots have the attribute: keep="false". If I use the following code
The hotspot don't show, unless I change their attribute to keep="true", which is not ideal, as I don't want to keep them when I load a new scene.
On the other hand, the hotspots show if I use the following line:
Do you have any idea what could be wrong?
Thanks
Hi there,
Are the hotspots inside the <scene> node? If so, they should always appear. Do you have a link to test this?
All the best,
Manuel
Hello,
Thanks for your quick reply.
The hotspots are not inside <scene> because they are generated calling an action.
But somehow you pointed me to the right direction
The hotspots show adding a delayed call to the function that generate them. Like this
<action name="startup">
ja-autoUpdateUrl(false);
ja-loadOptions(MERGE, BLEND(1));
ja-start(scene1, MERGE, BLEND(1));
delayedcall(.1,
add_hotspot(1,10,5);
);
</action>
That did the trick
Thank you very much!
Great to know it's fixed. Cheers!
By the way, another solution might be to add the hotspots after the "onnewpano" event. This way, you can be sure that the new scene is already loaded.
Hi.
Does'it work also with flat panoramas and values hlookat and vlookat ?
Thank's
Olivier
Yes it does... And also with version 19.3 you have a build in feature to solve deeplinking.
By the way I bought this plugin some years ago and it's very good, the only problem that I see is that you need to use 2 external js libraries
Thank's Jordi, but I'm too late. Today, the plugin seems to be removed. So, I can't get it !
