Any other sugestions? , I've thought about modifying the original pano to a, say multiple of 625 mean 50000 x 8125, adding a black border up and down, that will help at zoom in, camera tilt not being restricted at extreme zoom out.

No, sorry, no real good suggestions... other than what you proposed... and maybe just crop the image down by 1 px in height to 7590 to see if it's just a fluke at that combination.

Just shooting in the dark now though (on my part)... will otherwise have to wait for Klaus to add in.

if you zoom toward the church at certain level you'll see how upper part only jumps in heights significantly, but the lower part don't the same for the central statue in the square.

Hi,

this problem comes from the automatic calculation of the number
of internal slices and rings for the 3D geometry of a partial panorama,

the calculation is based on the "display.details" value, a higher value here should solve this problem,
it's always a balance between performance and quality and the automatic calculation especially for
partial panoramas isn't perfect at the moment,

try to add this to the xml file - this should solve the problem:

Hi,

I have just released an update of the soundinterface plugin,
now it supports also "directional sound"
use the "playsound3D()" or "playsound3DHS()" function for it,

have a look here - soundinterface thread

about the looping and gaps - when loop was set to 0 (=infinite looping) the sound
was stopped and restarted every loop, this could case a gap, but this issue is
fixed now, but for a number of loops there should be no gap,
but it's true that a mp3 file itself can have gaps too!

now works, many thanks, is funny but I used display details 25 so far I only removed it because somewhere I read that is ignored in flash 10.

it's only ignored for cubical panos with disabled fisheye effect
(this is the only surface that has no curved lines, so no subdividing is needed)

Hi All,

I've got a multi-resolution still image configured as a partial cylindrical pano at http://dev.cleartours.com/krstill/krpano.swf that I'd like to have centered and zoomed in as much as possible without cropping the image. I've set the image hfov to 1, but I can't seem to figure out the correct calculation to determine the VIEW fov to get the maximum zoom for any given image without cropping it. I've figured out that for this image to center it vertically without cropping vertically requires a VIEW fov of .67, but that was determined through trial and error.

Any help on determining the formula would be fantastic.

Hi,

the problem here is, that the view fov is the vertical fov and is based on the screenheight,
I will add here more options to set also the hfov or a fov with a fixed aspect of the view to solve this problem,
maybe already in the next beta release

I don't want to disturb you since you're "producing" such a good player, but if it can encourage you : I know a lot of people on my forum (- panophoto.org- ) which is waiting for KRP to handle with hotspots like FPP before they buy it !
At the moment, it really restraints them in their choice ...

Hi,

by default the view settings from the QTVR are used,
to disable this set the "setview" attribute of the <qtvr> note to "false",
e.g:

Hi Klaus, I noticed that the pano protected with krprotect (1.0.8-beta6-win) doesn't switch to fullscreen if one slect the option after right-click in panorama viewer.
